Marleen “Beany”, lost her life in a tragic motorcycle accident on August 15th, 2021. The month prior her mom, my Grandma, passed away as well. Grandma was a donor and was able to donate her tissues. The night of my mom's accident I knew how honored my mom would be to follow in her mom's footsteps of tissue donation. My mom wore the green bracelet so proudly. My mom's corneas have been donated to two others and helped them by giving them the gift of sight.
