Erika Schwager

In 2006, on November 20th, my daughter, Erika, drove to the mall and never came home. It has been 15 years since Erika didn't return home. Instead, she spent five days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and her brain stem herniated after a tragic automobile accident. She chose to be an organ donor. Her father and I facilitated her wishes. She donated both of her kidneys, her pancreas, and her liver. She chose to give. She was a fun loving, energetic, and beautiful young woman making this decision when she obtained her driver's license. This decision changed the life of many individuals, many unknown to me. A ripple effect. As her mother, this has been a long personal journey best described as A Time for Everything. Ecclesiastes 3. Thank you, IDN for your continued support during my journey.

Our Vision:

All are inspired to donate life.
