Cale Richard Farley, age 5, of Boone, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at UnityPoint- Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Cale was born on January 28, 2016, the son of Joel and Jessica (Graham) Farley at the Boone County Hospital. Cale was a kind, friendly, one in a million kid. He was one in a million to be diagnosed with Febrile Infection-Related Epilepsy Syndrome (FIRES). Cale was always special for being an organ donor to help save another’s life. Cale loved horses and would ride them at the farmer’s market or county fair any chance he had. He enjoyed swimming, playing video games, shooting Nerf Guns and his all-time favorite- water balloons! He was part of a recreational soccer team and loved to watch football. Cale’s teams were the Green Bay Packers (which he went to see twice in his 5 years) and the Iowa Hawkeyes (just like his mom). Cale loved racing (just like his dad). Cale touched countless hearts in the racing community and will be missed by many. Cale was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Betty Graham, John and Juanita Rose, and Bob and Rosemary Farley; and a great uncles, Tim Farley and Tony Stamper. Cale is survived by his parents, Joel and Jessica Farley; baby sister, Hallie Farley; grandparents, Kevin and Carrie Farley of Boone and Jon Graham and Violanda Stamper of Madrid; great grandparents, Volanda and Connelly Stamper; and uncles, Jon (Kelsi) Farley of Osceola, Jon Graham of Ames and Travis Graham of Madrid.
