“Becoming a donor parent is both the most heartbreaking and rewarding thing I’ve had to go through. I think of my daughter every day and wish I could hold her one more time. I know that one of her organs went to save the life of a little boy and am grateful that the family was able to enjoy another birthday, another Christmas, another day together.
I have been blessed to be able to volunteer for a great organization that promotes organ and tissue donation and can save improve a multitude of lives. I have met some wonderful people that each have a story to tell and we can work together to make sure that the cause is pushed forward and our loved ones’ lives are remembered and our memories of them live on.
Knowing that although I wasn't granted my miracle, others were granted theirs because of my daughter’s donation, brings me and my family peace.”
