Organ Donation Manager

  • Position Overview: Responsible for providing day-to-day oversight and guidance to the organ donation team to accomplish mission and goals. Serve as the clinical expert for donor suitability, organ allocation, organ recovery for transplant and research, training, and donation and transplantation issues. Accountable for organ donation team’s adherence to all regulatory and accrediting agency standards, including, but not limited to CMS, UNOS, AOPO, FDA and AATB, as well as all internal organizational policies, procedures and guidelines. Provide direction, education and mentoring to team to facilitate efficiency and effectiveness in the donation process while encouraging the professional development and achievement of personal and departmental goals. Maintain clinical skills and may function as an Organ Donation Coordinator. Align daily activities with the strategic and operational goals of the organization.

  • Job Qualifications: Two years of experience in healthcare. Proven ability to lead a team, coordinate internal and external resources, and achieve measurable results against goals. Must have a minimum of one-year experience as an Organ Donation Coordinator
